NXT Building offers a range of circular products for construction, including concrete and facing bricks. Why? Because we focus on a future for the next generation. By reusing available raw materials and producing new building materials from them, we are contributing our stone to a better world. This is how we complete the circle without being more expensive than “regular” building materials
Where it all began
The construction sector accounts for nearly 40% of total global CO2 emissions. The production of concrete produces about 9% of the world’s CO2 emissions. To meet the 2030 climate goals and achieve significant CO2 reductions, it is essential for the construction industry to make the production of building materials more sustainable.
This is only possible if we use fewer new materials, reuse many more materials, and use building materials that do not emit CO2 in production.
In our view, there is enough material available to build new buildings without extracting new raw materials. We therefore develop circular building materials that are less harmful to the environment and that contribute to reducing CO2 emissions. Together we are building a more sustainable future.
