Calls for action on climate change are growing louder. NXT Building is laying the foundation for a greener and more resilient world. We develop circular building materials that are less harmful to the environment and contribute to climate goals. By reusing ‘old’ building materials we are taking a step towards a carbon negative building sector.
Our circular manufacturing process
All of our building materials have a circular manufacturing process. This means that our materials are 100% recyclable. We therefore provide a take-back guarantee on all our products. In doing so, we reduce the pressure on natural resources.
In our new plant, we transform demolition materials into high-quality products by using as few new raw materials as possible.
In doing so, we contribute to the responsible treatment of our planet. And we are proud of what we do. By giving old materials a new life, we ensure that we reduce waste and protect natural resources. And with this approach, the risk of scarcity is small.

CO2 emissions nil
Our first product is the NXT Bricks. Did you know that the CO2 during this production is zero? A normal brick requires natural gas to turn clay into bricks. This requires a lot and enormous heat during the baking process. An average brick factory, as a bulk consumer, consumes about 6 million m3 of natural gas per year.
If we analyze the annual impact, we see that the production of bricks produces about 2.94 million tons of CO2 emissions every day. This underlines the constant pressure this industry puts on the environment. Because the CO2 emissions from the production process of our circular bricks are zero, we ensure that the pressure on the environment is significantly reduced.
